ELECTRIC BICYCLE RENTAL AGREEMENT

ELECTRIC BICYCLE RENTAL AGREEMENT
This Electric Bicycle Rental Agreement (hereinafter – the “Agreement”) is concluded electronically in accordance with the Civil Law of the Republic of Latvia and Regulation (EU) No. 910/2014 (eIDAS). The Agreement has the same legal effect as a handwritten-signed document.


1. PARTIES
LESSOR: SIA TOPVELO Registration No.: 40203467580
Legal address: Hipokrāta iela 51, Riga, LV-1079, Latvia
LESSEE: A natural person whose identity is established electronically via the RARIRIDE platform (hereinafter – the “Lessee”).


2. OBJECT OF THE AGREEMENT
2.1. The Lessor rents to the Lessee an electric bicycle (hereinafter – the “E-bike”):

  • Model: ChamRider DTS425

  • Market value: EUR 1,250.00

    2.2. The E-bike is issued and shall be returned at: Lāčplēša iela 125, Riga, Republic of Latvia.

3. RENTAL FEE AND DEPOSIT
3.1. Rental fee: EUR 160.00 per calendar month.
3.2. Security deposit: EUR 50.00, refundable upon return of the E-bike provided no claims exist.
3.3. Payment: Rental payment for the first month must be completed before receiving the E-bike.
3.4. Minimum rental period: One (1) month.
3.5. Refunds: Early termination does not entitle the Lessee to a refund for unused days.


4. TERM AND EXTENSION
4.1. The rental term may be extended by timely payment of the monthly rental fee.
4.2. The rental period is considered extended only upon receipt of payment confirmation by the Lessor.


5. DELAY AND NON-RETURN
5.1. Late return fee: EUR 10.00 per calendar day if returned after the agreed rental day.
5.2. Failure to return the E-bike or extend the agreement constitutes a material breach and may result in legal action.


6. LIABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY
6.1. The Lessee bears full material responsibility for the E-bike during the rental period.
6.2. The Lessee is liable for any damage, loss, or theft of the E-bike.
6.3. A detailed damage price list is provided in Annex No. 1 and forms an integral part of this Agreement.


7. USE RESTRICTIONS
The Lessee is prohibited from:

  • Transferring the E-bike to third parties;

  • Using the E-bike for commercial sporting events;

  • Using the E-bike outside the city of Riga without prior written consent from the Lessor;

  • Riding with more than one person on the E-bike.

8. PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy published on the RARIRIDE platform and applicable data protection laws (GDPR).


9. ENTRY INTO FORCE
This Agreement is executed electronically. By confirming consent, completing identity verification, and signing electronically, the Lessee confirms acceptance. The Agreement enters into force at the moment of electronic signature.

PENALTIES

  • Driving 2 persons on 1 e-bike: € 100.00 immediate penalty.

  • Unauthorized transfer of e-bike: € 300.00 penalty.

  • Failure to notify change of phone number: € 50.00 penalty.

  • Returning e-bike dirty: € 20.00 cleaning fee.

  • Late return (after 14:00 on due date): € 5.00 penalty.

RENT PAYMENT PENALTIES

  • 1–2 days late: Grace period (FREE).

  • 3–6 days late: € 25.00 credit fee.

  • 6–12 days late: € 50.00 credit fee.

  • 12–24 days late: € 75.00 credit fee.

  • 25–30 days late: € 100.00 credit fee.

  • 30+ days late: Reported as stolen. Legal/lawyer fees (€ 250.00) and court costs apply.

FREE SERVICES (INCLUDED IN RENT)

  • 2 tire puncture repairs per month (at the shop).

  • Brake pads, oil fluid, and tightening.

  • General technical malfunctions (Controller, Screen, PAS sensor).

  • Chain lubrication and standard wear/tear replacement.

RETURN POLICY

  • Washing: The E-bike must be washed before return (FREE at Pērnavas iela 22). Battery must be removed before washing.

  • Timing: Returns must be made on the due date between 10:00 – 14:00.

​

This appendix forms an integral part of the Bicycle Rental Agreement.
