Terms and conditions

By checking the "I agree" box in the application form, you enter into a legally binding Distance Rental Agreement with SIA TOPVELO.

Important Information:

  • Legal Validity: Your electronic consent has the same legal standing as a handwritten signature under Latvian law.

  • In-Person Verification: To collect your e-bike at Lāčplēša iela 125, Riga, you must present a valid ID (Passport or ID card) and sign a physical copy of the agreement.

  • Model Selection: Specific rental fees and technical terms apply based on the e-bike model you select during the booking process.

Welcome to RARIRIDE. These Terms of Use govern your use of the RARIRIDE.lv platform and the process of reserving an electric bicycle from SIA TOPVELO (hereinafter – the "Lessor").

By submitting an application and checking the consent box, you agree to these terms, which constitute a pre-contractual Distance Agreement under the Civil Law of the Republic of Latvia.

1. The Rental Process

To ensure high security and asset protection, the rental process consists of the following steps:

  1. Online Application: You select a model and provide your personal data.

  2. Identity Verification: You must upload a clear photo of your ID/Passport and a "selfie" holding the same document.

  3. Preparation: Once verified, the Lessor prepares a physical Electric Bicycle Rental Agreement using your provided data.

  4. In-Person Signature: You must visit our workshop at Lāčplēša iela 125, Riga, to present your original ID, sign the physical contract, and pay the security deposit.

  5. Handover: A Handover Act (Pieņemšanas-nodošanas akts) will be signed upon receiving and returning the E-bike.

     

2. Identity Verification & Security

  • Document Match: The ID document uploaded during the online application must be presented in person at the time of pickup. The Lessor will not issue the E-bike if the documents do not match.

  • Verification Selfie: The selfie is required to ensure that the document belongs to the person making the reservation.

  • Data Purpose: Your data is collected solely for identity verification, contract preparation, and the protection of the Lessor’s assets (Market Value: EUR 1,250.00).

     

3. Financial Terms

  • Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit of EUR 50.00 is required before the E-bike is issued.

  • Monthly Fee: Rental fees range from EUR 130.00 to EUR 170.00 depending on the selected model (Corelli, ENGWE, or ChamRider).

  • Payment: The first month’s rent must be paid in full upon or before receiving the E-bike.

     

4. Responsibility & Handover Act (PNA)

  • Condition Check: Upon receiving the E-bike, the Lessee and Lessor sign a Handover Act (PNA) documenting the bike's condition, including any existing scratches or technical notes.

  • Liability: The Lessee bears full material responsibility for any damage, loss, or theft from the moment of pickup until the final return signature.

  • Return Condition: The E-bike must be returned clean (free washing available at Pērnavas 22). A EUR 20.00 fee applies for dirty returns.

     

5. Data Protection (GDPR)

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679:

  • Your data is handled by SIA TOPVELO (Reg. No. 40203467580).

  • Identity documents are stored securely and used only for the execution of the rental agreement and fraud prevention.

  • Our website uses SSL encryption to ensure that your uploads are protected during transmission.

6. Legal Entry into Force

While this online interaction constitutes a Distance Agreement, the final terms and liabilities are fully governed by the physical contract signed at Lāčplēša iela 125, which remains an integral legal document of the transaction.
