ELECTRIC BICYCLE RENTAL AGREEMENT

This Electric Bicycle Rental Agreement (hereinafter – the “Agreement”) is concluded electronically in accordance with the Civil Law of the Republic of Latvia and Regulation (EU) No. 910/2014 (eIDAS). The Agreement has the same legal effect as a handwritten-signed document.

1. PARTIES

LESSOR: SIA TOPVELO

Registration No.: 40203467580

Legal address: Hipokrāta iela 51, Rīga, LV-1079, Latvia

LESSEE: A natural person whose identity is established electronically via the RARIRIDE.lv platform (hereinafter – the “Lessee”).

2. OBJECT OF THE AGREEMENT

2.1. The Lessor rents to the Lessee an electric bicycle (hereinafter – the “E-bike”).

2.2. The specific model is selected by the Lessee during the application process:

  • Engwe Engine Pro 2.0 (Monthly rent: € 170.00)

  • Engwe M20 Dual Battery (Monthly rent: € 170.00)

  • ChamRider DTS425 (Monthly rent: € 160.00)

  • Corelli Truva 190 (Monthly rent: € 130.00)

    2.3. The Market Value of any E-bike is established at EUR 1,250.00.

    2.4. The E-bike is issued and must be returned at: Lāčplēša iela 125, Riga, Latvia.

3. RENTAL FEE AND DEPOSIT

3.1. Security Deposit: EUR 50.00 (refundable upon return of the E-bike, provided no claims exist).

3.2. Minimum Rental Period: One (1) month.

3.3. Payment: The first month's rent must be paid in full before the E-bike is issued.

3.4. Refunds: Early termination by the Lessee does not entitle them to a refund for unused days.

4. TERM AND EXTENSION

4.1. The rental term is extended automatically upon timely payment of the next monthly fee.

4.2. The rental period is officially extended only upon receipt of payment confirmation by the Lessor.

5. USE RESTRICTIONS AND OBLIGATIONS

5.1. The Lessee is prohibited from:

  • Transferring the E-bike to third parties;

  • Using the E-bike for commercial sporting events;

  • Riding with a passenger (Immediate penalty applies);

  • Using the E-bike outside the city of Riga without prior written consent.

    5.2. The Lessee must notify the Lessor immediately of any changes to their contact information (phone number/email).

6. RETURN POLICY

6.1. The E-bike must be returned on the scheduled day between 10:00 and 14:00.

6.2. Cleaning: The E-bike must be returned clean. (Free washing is available at Pērnavas iela 22). Note: Battery must be removed before washing.

6.3. A € 20.00 fee applies if the E-bike is returned dirty.

7. LIABILITY

7.1. The Lessee bears full material responsibility for the E-bike, including damage, loss, or theft.

7.2. Specific damage costs and penalties are defined in Annex No. 1.

8. ENTRY INTO FORCE

The Agreement enters into force at the moment of electronic consent/signature on the RARIRIDE platform and is confirmed by the physical handover of the E-bike at the workshop.

SERVICE PENALTIES

  • Driving with a passenger: € 100.00 penalty.

  • Unauthorized transfer to another person: € 300.00 penalty.

  • Changing phone number without notification: € 50.00 penalty.

  • Late return (after 14:00 on due date): € 5.00 penalty.

  • Late return (each subsequent day): € 10.00 per day.

RENT PAYMENT PENALTIES

  • Rent day + 2 days: Grace period (No fee).

  • 3–6 days late: € 25.00 credit fee.

  • 6–12 days late: € 50.00 credit fee.

  • 12–24 days late: € 75.00 credit fee.

  • 25–30 days late: € 100.00 credit fee.

  • 30+ days late: The E-bike is reported as stolen. Legal fees (€ 250.00), court costs, and border patrol alerts will apply.

  • ​

INCLUDED FOR FREE (MAINTENANCE)

  • Two (2) tire puncture repairs per month (at the workshop).

  • Brake pads, fluid, and adjustments.

  • Chain lubrication and technical error diagnostics.

  • Replacement of parts due to natural wear (tires, chain, bearings) at the shop's discretion.

This Annex forms an integral part of the Rental Agreement.
